Baby J's Baby Blessing

My mother-in-law made this beautiful blessing outfit.  I LOVE it!  My mom made the beautiful afghan behind him in the first photo.  It is also very beautiful and soft.

Baby J's blessing was beautiful.  I wish I had written in it down, but my arms were full of Lil' Guy D.  I remember he was blessed to know the Lord, serve a mission, and marry in the temple.  Hopefully C remembers more. 

It was a beautiful day.  I wish all our family could have been here!

Historic Site

I was nursing Baby J and then napping in the car when they took these pics.  I can't even remember where they were, but my big boy looks adorable!

Yellow Eyes

Baby J's eyes are no longer yellow.  It was interesting to watch the yellow recede.  I could see the ring getting smaller and smaller.  These pics were taken back when his jaundice was still pretty bad.

The Ear Piercing

My mom has wanted to pierce Miss L's ears for a long time.  Daddy said she had to be older and she had to choose it.  Miss L decided she wanted it done while Grandma was here. 

 

When we got to the store they only had one person there so we had to do one ear at a time.  I will never do that again.  It was horrible.  Miss L did not want her other ear done after the first.  I was so frustrated and nervous that I had to walk away and let Grandma take care of it.  It was very traumatic for ME! LOL.  Glad it's over and she's happy.  She was great about taking care of them herself and loved having that special bond with Grandma.  She is so happy and I am just happy it's over.

She got a crown for being brave.  So cute. 

 

Avery Island

We took my parents to Avery Island.  Oh how we love having grandparents around. My dad loves Tabasco Sauce so we figured he'd like this spot.  There are so many flavors. I love the tabasco and berry ice-cream and the tabasco jellies.  Nummy.

I don't have nearly enough pics of my kids with their grandparents.  Mom and I are usually lounging around talking with no make-up on  and in our lounge clothes and neither of us are fond of having pics taken when we are in that state. I'm glad I captured this pic.

My friend, Amanda, said my mom is very pretty...I agree!  And she's awesome too.

Cowboys Football Game

Mr. M has two buddies on a local football team.  Football is serious business in the South.  M decided after watching this he wants to play.  Unfortunately for him they practice on Sundays and we won't be able to.  I just wish there was a sport here that didn't practice on Sundays.

Mr. M met the boy on the right in kindergarten.  They also live close to us.  We love him. He was so excited Mr. M was there.  It was adorable.  He kept running over and telling him, "Watch me! I'm number one.  I'll be out there on the field.  Watch me, not number 10."  The other little boy, number ten, is in their second grade class.  I don't know him as well.

Lil' Guy enjoyed it too.  Although I told him he needed his ears cleaned and then he was obsessed with me taking a picture of his ears, which is what he thinks I was doing here. 

This is such a typical Lil' Guy face.  He does it all the time. 

We had fun at the game.  I loved watching the excitement on my big boy's face. 

He Loves Him

He's a sweet brother.  He has no idea of his own strength and often scares me, but there is no doubt he loves HIS Baby J.

All His Two Thousand Parts

 

Bear with me here.  I know there are a ton of pics.  This is the only baby book I keep and the only pictures I print, so I am posting all of them for me, not for you, my five readers. :)

 

Baby J had jaundice and had to spend some time in front of windows, mostly naked.  One day I snapped a ton of pics.  This is only a portion of them, I did show SOME restraint.

 

I want to remember everything!  I know I won't.  It is a hard thing for me to accept.  This is the best way I can.  He's so beautiful.  Such a miracle.  We are so blessed.

The wrinkles!  I love the wrinkles....which have already basically disappeared, five weeks later.
