Fall Leaves

Last year we had a tropical storm hit and it blew all the leaves away.  We never got to see the leaves change.  And living in West Texas we really didn't either.  So this year we were excited to see the beautiful fall leaves.  It was November, but whatever it takes! :)  So pretty.

The bad part was we spent a ton of time raking leaves.  

I think it was worth it though. 

No One Ever Said He Was Normal

 

Cabe is infamous among past and present missionaries.  He gives them all superhero names, fills up their quote board with crazy things he says, he pretends to beat them up, teases them, and who knows what else.  His favorite thing to do though....flirt with them.  He thinks it is so funny.  And often they play along.  Here is he and Elder Wolfe posing for prom.

I have other photos too but for some reason I can't find them.  Bummer.

He's Awesome

One of my favorite things about the hubby, he is almost always willing to play along.

Mardi Gras mask was a present from my parents.  She loves it. 

Thanksgiving Dinner

The last two years we've had Thanksgiving Dinner at the church.  Lot's of people who are just like family to us!

 

 

Saying Goodbye

Sending my parents back home will never get easier.  We miss them so much.

My Favorite New Orleans Pics

It's hard for me to relinquish the camera.  I have a very specific idea of what pictures I want.  However, this time, I am glad I did.  I LOVE these photos Cabe got.

Look not only at the musician but the city street behind and the cobblestone.  Awesome. 

I remember when this picture was taken and no one was posing.  My mom, Mr. M, and Miss L were really just lined up like that waiting.

New Orleans Images

I love New Orleans.  I was nervous to visit there the first time but now I'm usually pretty excited to go back.

Baby J was just a few weeks old and I carried him much of the time.  Man, I was pooped at the end of the day, but felt so blessed to have this new baby and my parents around.  

I love the street performers.   

And I just love the streets.   

This old firehouse is an apartment now.  People came home while we were standing there and I tried so hard to see the inside, but was only able to see a staircase and wall.

Whole Lotta New Orleans Cemetary

I was in the car feeding Jonas for this part of our trip to New Orleans.  It looks like there a ton of interesting people in this particular graveyard. 

Apparently, it's believed, that if you put three Xs on her grave and leave a token she grants you a wish.
