Blog Books

I generally print my blog then put it all into a book by Christmas.  I am two years behind!  Ah!  Well a year and a half now, I'm halfway through 2012.  It's been so much fun re-reading all of it.

I am now going to do two things.  I'm either going to shut my blog down and just post directly into blurb, or I am going to post directly into blurb and post the pages to my blog.  I have not yet decided. 

J's Check-up

I haven't downloaded pics lately but I don't want to forget these details.  Baby J weighed 13 lbs. 6 oz. at his 2 month appt. He was 24 inches long.

He smiles and coos.  He is sleeping usually from 8pm-4am.  Sometimes more, sometimes less.  A couple of weeks ago he was taking two four hour naps a day.  It was fantastic.  Now he is struggling in the nap department.  He will often nap for one hour in the morning and then catnaps all day.  I am working with him.  At least he sleeps at night!  He is so much like Lib at this age that it is uncanny.  I was reading her baby book and she was pretty much the same at this point in size and behavior.  Even though she started out at almost 10 lbs and he at 7lbs. 12oz.

He loves his mama.  And I love him.  He is such an enjoyable baby.

What is it about kids in pajamas that is so cute?

I wanted to write down some cute things Mr. D says and needed some pics to go with it...so these will do. :)

Rootbeer is "wootbeer," but Sprite is "wice," I'm not sure why.  I asked him and he said "Wice starts with W."

Mustache is a smushstache.

Drink is a mink.

Hulk is Hoke.  I love when he comes into a room, "Mommy, I need a jacket, I'm going to Captain America's house.

He has two bwudders (brothers) now.

He says daddy cowors (colors) at work.

 

I love little-kid talk!  Especially when it's my own kid.

Does it ever hit any of you that you are moms?  Sometimes it blows me away that I am actually parenting these people.  Seems like yesterday I was excitedly waiting for my first little guy.

I badly wish I had photoshop.  It's just too darn hard to get everyone smiling and looking. :)  We did get most of us, Miss L never smiles when someone else takes the pics anyway.
